Kindergarten Happenings

 



Our Kindergarten in September has come to a close. 

 We've had a great month, with a variety of learning experiences taking place. We have focused on the following:

  •  to be a good friend, sharing, speaking kindly and helping each other
  • learning to take turns
  • to follow routines like putting on our indoor shoes independently and keeping a tidy cubby
  • to work together at our tables, encouraging each other
  • to play responsibly with each other, and to clean up our toys and free centre materials
  • to line up with our hands at our sides and to walk quietly in the halls
  • safety rules (handwashing, walking inside)

  And that's a wrap! We completed our first 5 half-day kindergarten week! We played, we snacked, we ran, we listened, we learned, we experienced school for the very first time.  And here we are in action at our meetings! And finally, the big day arrived! And here we are at snack time and play time! It was Western Day on Friday!  *Disclaimer: some students chose to not have their picture taken.... See y'all on Monday for full days! 8:15-2:20. We will celebrate Jackson's birthday here at school and have our own little Terry Fox run in the school field.

Thank you to Ella's mom for the delicious treats! And thank you to Atticus' family for the dirt and worms! Yummmmmmmy! Every day is another adventure!
