                It's a Merry Kindie Christmas!


December was a busy and festive month in kindergarten, even though many of our friends were sick during the last two weeks. We missed seeing some familiar faces and hope everyone is feeling much better as we head into the new year.

Despite the absences, our classroom was filled with Christmas cheer. The children enjoyed creating festive crafts, sharing special treats, and taking part in several lovely Christmas presentations. They played hard and were so proud to share their songs, activities, and smiles.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents and family members who came to celebrate with us. Your support and presence made these moments extra special for the children. We are grateful for a wonderful school community and wish everyone a restful, healthy holiday season.

This month, designing zoos, playing the Polar Express, puzzles, drawing Christmas characters and playing reindeer games.
















Thank you for the wonderful presentations! It was so lovely to hear about your holiday traditions and ask our thoughtful questions. We loved the cookies, brownies and crafts!

  And that's a wrap! We completed our first 5 half-day kindergarten week! We played, we snacked, we ran, we listened, we learned, we experienced school for the very first time.  And here we are in action at our meetings! And finally, the big day arrived! And here we are at snack time and play time! It was Western Day on Friday!  *Disclaimer: some students chose to not have their picture taken.... See y'all on Monday for full days! 8:15-2:20. Kindergarten Happenings

  Our Kindergarten in September has come to a close.   We've had a great month, with a variety of learning experiences taking place. We have focused on the following:  to be a good friend, sharing, speaking kindly and helping each other learning to take turns to follow routines like putting on our indoor shoes independently and keeping a tidy cubby to work together at our tables, encouraging each other to play responsibly with each other, and to clean up our toys and free centre materials to line up with our hands at our sides and to walk quietly in the halls safety rules (handwashing, walking inside) Check out how much we've done!
